Choose Windsor House or Mobile parties to see the right answers for your celebration.
How does booking work?+
Fill out our booking form and we'll check your date. Once we confirm we can do your party, you pay the booking fee to lock it in. Your final balance is due 7 days before the big day.
Want to reserve your date while we check? You can place a hold — it's an authorisation on your card, not a charge. It means we prioritise your date while we confirm we're available. If we can't do your date, the hold is released automatically and nothing's taken.
What areas do you service?+
Enchanted Enterprises is Brisbane based and services from Moreton Bay to the Gold Coast. Depending on your location, a travel fee as well as a minimum hire requirement may apply.
When do I need to submit my RSVP?+
The RSVP form must be completed at least 7 days before your event. This is when you finalise food choices, drink options, cake preferences, BYO food decisions, and any optional add-ons.
When will I find out who my performer is?+
Your cast reveal lands in your inbox 7 days before the party (and only once your final balance is paid). We hold the cast confirmation back until then so we have flexibility to swap performers in case of illness or last-minute scheduling, without scaring you with changes. You'll also be able to see your full cast inside your booking portal at that point.
Are you insured?+
Yes, our performers hold Public Liability Insurance for up to $20,000,000.
Do I need to decide everything at booking?+
Your package tier locks in once your booking fee is paid. Party styles, themes and characters can still change after that, but they close off as your date gets closer — most changes lock 7 days before your party, and some add-ons close 30 days out. A $100 change fee applies to style, theme or character changes once your booking is confirmed, and a $30 fee may apply to small changes made close to the date. You do not need to decide food until your RSVP is due, 7 days before your event.
Can I request a specific performer?+
Generally, we'll match the best available performer for your chosen package and theme, and you'll find out who in your cast reveal email (7 days before the party). If you've seen a specific performer in action before and want to request them, email hello@enchantedenterprises.com.au and we'll do our best to accommodate. A $50 admin fee applies if we need to swap out an already-shortlisted performer to fit your request. We're BIPOC inclusive and open to colour-blind casting.
Is there a public holiday surcharge?+
Yes - a 15% surcharge applies to all bookings on public holidays.
When should I serve the birthday cake and party food?+
We recommend food to be served in the 30 minutes before entertainment arrives. For 1-hour packages, serve food after entertainment leaves. For longer parties, serve food 1 hour into the party. Birthday cake should be near the end of the party, approximately 15 minutes before the entertainer leaves.
How much do extra kids cost?+
$25 per additional child beyond the included number. Each tier has a maximum number of kids.
How much room is required?+
We are able to adapt to any space. In smaller areas, we may modify the itinerary to suit the room.
What is the capacity including parents for each package?+
Petite: 20 total. Classic: 30 total. Deluxe: 35 total. Grand: 40 total. This includes kids, adults, and infants.

What is the maximum number of kids per package?+
Petite: up to 5 kids. Classic: up to 14 kids. Deluxe: up to 16 kids. Grand: up to 20 kids. Extra children can be added at $25 each, up to each package's maximum.
What time should I schedule entertainment to arrive?+
We recommend booking characters to arrive at least 30 minutes after guests are asked to arrive. This allows the itinerary to proceed without disruptions from new arrivals.
What food is included in each package?+
Petite: no food included. Classic: Kids Grazing Food - choose any 3 platters from the Children's Grazing Menu. Deluxe: Kids Grazing Food + Substantial Kids Canape + Tea & Coffee. Grand: Same as Deluxe with more capacity.

Can I purchase extra food platters for parents?+
Yes. Additional platters can be purchased via the RSVP store. Orders must be placed by the Wednesday before your event.
What if there is not a package that suits me?+
Feel free to contact us for a private consultation. Special requests can be accommodated in most cases but may incur additional fees.
Can I bring my own food (BYO)?+
Yes, with conditions, and the choice must be made through the RSVP form before the RSVP cutoff. You can bring outside food/drink with your own utensils/cups, take all waste with you, and arrive/depart within 5 minutes of your booked time. Extra setup/pack-down time is $200 per half hour, subject to availability and must be approved/booked in advance. After the cutoff, contact the team to review what is still possible.
Do your performers have blue cards?+
Yes - all performers have valid Blue Cards before commencing work with us.

Yes. Allergen-friendly snacks, cake slices, and gluten-friendly cakes can be purchased via the RSVP form. All catering is external and subject to supplier stock. We may not be able to cater to every dietary need.
Can my party be held in a park?+
Absolutely! Please have a wet weather backup as cancellations due to weather do not result in a refund.
Can you modify the fillings or contents of platters?+
No. We are unable to alter fillings in any platter selections. Dairy-free/gluten-free options are only available if explicitly already stated. Ingredients may occasionally be substituted if unavailable.
Do your characters arrive in costume?+
Yes. Some characters may need minor preparation outside their car on arrival (e.g. fairies putting on wings). Keep children inside on character arrival and departure so the magic is not spoilt.

What does a typical party look like?+
Parties start with a Tea Party/food segment in the Courtyard, followed by the main activity (Dance & Play, Magic, Pamper etc.), then Cake Ceremony, Wishing Circle, and Farewell. Some packages include a Tower segment. Exact order varies by style and tier.
What is the Wishing Circle?+
The Wishing Circle is a closing ceremony segment included in some packages where kids make a wish with their character before farewell.
What's the booking fee — and can I change my mind?+
The booking fee secures your spot and is non-refundable. If you placed a hold, that's your change-of-mind window — release it anytime before we confirm and nothing's charged. Once we've confirmed your date and taken the booking fee, your party is locked in — no refunds or change of mind from that point.
What is the Snack Bar?+
An optional open snack bar for the duration of the party. Snacks, bottled water and soft drinks are $2.50 each, payable by the booking client at the end of the event. You can nominate a maximum spend tab. Note: we cannot restrict who takes items.
What's the cancellation policy?+
Booking fee and add-ons are non-refundable once paid. Cancellations within 14 days of your event forfeit payments made, as your spot and suppliers are locked in by then.
How many characters are included?+
Petite & Classic: 1 character. Deluxe: 2 characters (or 1 character + 1 mascot for Mascot/Dino styles). Grand: 2 characters + hosts (or 3 for K-Pop, or 1 character + magician for Magic Show).
How many children is each mobile package recommended for?+
Our recommendations are a guide — every performer works at a pace that keeps the party fun, and going a little over is usually fine at no extra charge. (Unlike Windsor House parties, mobile parties have no per-child fee.)
• 1 Hour — recommended for around 20 children. Each additional character adds +10. Face painting only: around 15 (each extra face-painting character +10).
• 1.5 Hours — recommended for 15–20 children (up to 20 with glitter makeovers, or up to 15 including simple face painting). Each additional character adds +10. Face painting only: around 25 (each extra face-painting character +15).
• 2 Hours — recommended for around 20 children, including simple face painting. Each additional character adds +15. Face painting only: around 30 (each extra face-painting character +20).
Glitter makeovers move faster than face painting, so if face painting is a priority it's lovely but it reduces the time for games — tell us what matters most and we'll tailor the visit. A 30-minute booking is a short meet & greet (great for big group photos or a cake-time appearance), not a full party.
Can I choose my characters?+
Yes. You choose from available characters for your selected theme and style. Lead characters are recommended per theme. Some characters are secondary/add-on only.
Can the performer's itinerary change on the day?+
Yes. Every performer brings their own flair, so the order and mix of games, songs, makeovers and activities can vary depending on the group, the space and how the children are responding on the day. The magical moments are always there — the grand entrance, the games, the happy birthday song and coronation — but the exact run sheet stays flexible. If there's something your child especially wants (a particular game, song, character moment or activity), please tell us in advance and make it clear, and we'll do our best to make sure it happens.
What is a Mascot character?+
Mascot characters are fully costumed characters (like Bluey, Mickey Mouse, Peppa Pig) who don't speak. Available in Mascot, Dinosaur, and some Grand styles. Deluxe and Grand only.
Can I change my party's date or time?+
Yes — just request it in your portal. Before your performers are assigned, you can change the date or time yourself, instantly and at no charge. Once your performers are locked in it works a little differently: request the change in the portal and we'll open your new date to our performers first. Your party stays booked on its original date until the new one is confirmed, and nothing changes or is charged until then. If the new date comes together, a change fee of $50 per performer applies (or $100 per performer within 7 days of your party) and your booking fee moves with you. If we can't staff the new date, your original booking simply stands as-is at no charge.
What happens on the RSVP form?+
You finalise: number of kids and adults, food platter selections, drink options, cake ceremony preference, BYO food option, snack bar preference, and any optional purchases.
What if something is unavailable?+
All catering is external and subject to supplier stock. If an item is unavailable you'll receive a suitable exchange or a refund for that item. Offerings are subject to change without notice.
What are the arrival/departure rules?+
Most clients should arrive and depart within 5 minutes of their booked timeslot. If you've purchased extra setup time, a wider window applies. Overstaying without pre-arrangement may incur extra charges.
What do I need to bring?+
Only things not included: Cake, Candles, and Party Bags. All three can be purchased through us if preferred.
Can I bring balloons?+
An Eco-Friendly Balloon Garland is included in all bookings. You may bring your own weighted balloon bouquets - balloons must be on weights, no provision for tying balloons to the space. Custom balloon garlands can be pre-purchased.
How early can I arrive?+
Arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your party. Early arrival can delay the start and may spoil the magic. If you need to arrive early to decorate, room hire is available at $200 per 30 minutes subject to availability.
Where do I park?+
There is no on-site parking at Windsor House. On weekends there are two parking spaces directly outside the venue on Lutwyche Road; on weekdays please check the street signage before parking. There is also free street parking a short walk away on Harris St, Palmer St and Thorne St, with overflow at the Windsor State School carpark (10 Constitution Road, Windsor). You are always welcome to pull up out the front first to drop off decorations or supplies.
Where do guests park?+
No on-site parking for guests. Plenty of street parking within a 2-minute walk on Thorne St, Palmer St, and Harris St. Overflow parking can be directed to the Windsor SS carpark at 10 Constitution Road, Windsor.
When is final payment due?+
Final payment and all finalisations are due 7 days before your event. Payment can be made via the booking link or bank transfer (details in invoice).
What are the rules around siblings and extra guests?+
All children aged 1-12 count as participants. Non-participants (adults, infants, older teens) do not get a seat at the table and are not included in activities, but count toward total capacity. Uninvited visitors may be denied entry.
What happens if guest numbers exceed the package limit?+
You will be asked to upgrade your package. If exceeded on arrival or with less than 30 days notice, resources may not be available for the full group. Events cannot proceed if guest numbers exceed maximum capacity.
What counts as a non-participant?+
Non-participants are adults, infants, or children not part of the main event. They don't receive a seat at the table and are excluded from tea party, craft, etc. All children aged 1-12 are participants regardless. Non-participants still count toward total capacity.
What exactly is in the included kids food?+
All packages except Petite include: Cookies & Mini Cupcakes, Carrot Sticks, Cheese, Crackers, Strawberries, Pink or Blue Lemonade, and Water. Plus your grazing platter selections from the RSVP form — 3 for Classic and Deluxe, 4 for Grand (a substantial menu option uses 2 of those slots). Premium or large platters carry a surcharge, shown in the RSVP form when you select them.
How do allergen/special dietary requests work?+
Allergy-friendly options are individually pre-packaged items (gluten-free / dairy-free cakes, biscuits, popcorn and more) that you select in your RSVP form, each priced per item. Alternatively, a parent or client may bring their own. Please list all allergies in the RSVP form at least 7 days before the event so we can prepare safely.
Are heating or refrigeration available for BYO food?+
No. Heating and refrigeration are not available for external food.
What are the BYO food options?+
Option 1: Bring outside food/drink, bring your own utensils/cups, no extra setup time, take all waste with you, arrive/depart within 5 minutes. Option 2: Same as above but with extra setup/pack-down time at +$200 per half hour (subject to availability).
Do parent platters come with plates and cutlery?+
No. Platters are finger food - plates and cutlery are not provided. Serviettes will be provided. Platters are typically served on arrival but may arrive around 30 minutes after the party starts depending on what was ordered.
What cakes are allowed?+
Cake must be delivered on the day and suitable for room temperature. No ice cream cakes. No smash cakes. For Petite or Classic packages, cupcakes are recommended. Be allergy-aware - nut-free cakes recommended.
When is cake served by default?+
Default (Boxed to Go): Cake ceremony in the last 15 minutes of the party (last 5 minutes if cupcakes). Cake is boxed to go for a clean finish and easy farewell.
Can I have cake eaten at the party?+
Yes. Select a Cake Eaten at Party option on RSVP. You can choose a Mid Ceremony Cake Celebration (end of Tea Party segment before upstairs activities), or purchase an additional 30 minutes at the end of your party.
How do I make changes to my booking?+
Email hello@enchantedenterprises.com.au. Fees apply for changes to date, characters, and other significant changes.
Will I get a refund for guests who don't show up?+
No. All payments are final - staff are allocated and suppliers are engaged as soon as you book.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Booking fee and add-ons are non-refundable once paid. Cancellations within 14 days of your event forfeit payments made, as your spot and suppliers are locked in by then.
What is the rescheduling policy?+
Rescheduling is treated as a cancellation and new booking with Goodwill Credit. A $250 rescheduling fee applies for events within one calendar month, plus loss of Add-On payments. Changes within 7 days incur an additional 5% admin charge.
What's the fee for changing my style/theme/characters after confirming?+
Once your booking is confirmed, a $100 admin fee applies to genuine changes — like swapping Pamper for Dance & Play, or picking a different theme. If you're just filling in a choice you hadn't made yet at booking, there's no fee.
Can I downgrade my package?+
No. Downgrades are not available as staff and supplies are pre-allocated.
Can I upgrade my package?+
Yes. Contact us to arrange an upgrade. Upgrades may be necessary if you exceed your package's child limit. Upgrade inclusions are subject to availability.
What if capacity is exceeded and the party can't go ahead at Windsor House?+
If guest numbers exceed capacity and we can't host you, your characters from the package may be moved to a mobile party — because mobile is mostly character-focused this isn't a like-for-like swap (standard travel fees apply) — within 30 days of your original date, subject to availability.
What payment methods are accepted?+
Visa/Mastercard via Stripe, or Bank Transfer. Online payments include a processing fee. Cash is not accepted.
What happens if I don't pay the final balance?+
Failure to pay by 7 days before the event may result in cancellation of your experience and release of your booking to the waitlist. Your booking fee and any payments will be forfeited.
Can I use a gift card, coupon, or voucher?+
Gift cards, coupons, and vouchers are only eligible for private bookings. They cannot be used to pay the booking fee or for mobile bookings. If the voucher doesn't cover the full amount, you'll still be invoiced for the remainder including the booking fee.
Can payments be transferred to a mobile booking?+
On a change of mind, no. But if we can't deliver at Windsor House (or guest numbers exceed capacity and it can't go ahead at Windsor House), we can move your booking to a mobile party. As our mobile service is mostly character-focused, it's not a like-for-like swap — we carry your characters across, credit what you've paid, adjust for any difference, and standard travel fees apply.
What is the admin fee for late changes?+
Changes requested and approved within 7 days of the service incur a 5% administration charge on top of the $250 rescheduling fee.
Can I get a credit if I cancel after paying the final balance?+
Additional money paid beyond the booking fee and add-ons can be converted to an experience credit, valid for 12 months for another Windsor House party. Credit cannot be used to pay a booking fee or for mobile services.
What if a performer is sick or unavailable?+
Enchanted Enterprises will do their best to replace the performer with another approved talent. If no approved performer is available, alternative entertainment of equal value will be offered. Specific performer requests cannot be accommodated.
Can prices change after I've booked?+
Enchanted Enterprises reserves the right to change pricing or inclusions at any time. However, price changes do not apply to pre-existing confirmed bookings.
What is the COVID cancellation policy?+
The standard cancellation policy is only waived in the event of a government-imposed full public health lockdown that prevents the service from taking place. In that case, all monies will be refunded.
What happens if it rains or there is extreme weather?+
All of our experiences are designed to take place inside, so the magic never stops! Our beautiful courtyard is covered by a marquee, though during heavier rain some water can run off onto the stone floors. We'd suggest skipping the glass slippers and princess shoes for this one — a little grip goes a long way on wet stone! If the little ones get a bit damp on arrival, it's also worth having a cosy spare layer handy so everyone feels their best when the tea party begins.
What are the arrival rules for Windsor House parties?+
The booking client may arrive 5 minutes early to deliver cake, party bags, or other items. All other guests arrive at the designated start time. Sessions start and end strictly on time.
What if parents drop off and leave?+
Parents who drop off children must provide contact details to the booking client in case of emergency. All parents should arrive 10 minutes before the experience ends to ensure safe departure.
How does food work and who prepares it?+
Enchanted Enterprises does not prepare, re-plate, or handle food on-site. All catering is supplied by external licensed caterers and arrives ready-to-serve, placed directly on tables for self-service.
What are the food platter selections per package?+
Classic: Choose any 3 platters from the Children's Grazing Menu. Deluxe: Choose any 3 from Grazing, OR 1 Grazing + 1 Substantial. Grand: Choose any 4 from Grazing, OR 2 Grazing + 1 Substantial. Petite = no food included. Most platters are included; some premium or large options carry a surcharge, shown in your RSVP form when you select them.
What allergen-friendly food options are available?+
Options: (1) Allergen-friendly platters e.g. GF sandwiches, fruit kebabs. (2) Pre-packaged allergen-friendly snacks. (3) BYO lunchbox - client labels it, no heating/refrigeration, no sharing. Enchanted Enterprises is not liable for allergic reactions.
What are the outside food setup rules and fees?+
Outside food decisions must be recorded in the RSVP form before the RSVP cutoff. Supplementing the included menu is allowed at no extra cost if it stays within the booked party time, with your own utensils/cups and all waste taken with you. Extra setup/pack-down time is $200 per half hour, subject to availability and must be approved/booked in advance. Heating and refrigeration are not available for external food.
What are the cakeage fees?+
Display Cake (vanilla slices) are $5 each. Cupcakes: no cakeage charged. BYO cake with cakeage service: $200, includes 30-minute courtyard extension and full service.
What are the rules if I bring a smash cake or ice cream cake?+
Not recommended but permitted with conditions. Cake ceremony must take place in the Courtyard. Ice cream cakes cannot be stored - must be brought in immediately prior and served early. Serving, cleanup and disposal must occur within your booking time.
Who owns photos taken during the party?+
All photos taken by Enchanted Enterprises staff are the property of Enchanted Enterprises. They may be used for promotional purposes unless bought out. After the event, the booking guest receives access to a proof gallery and can purchase photos.
Can I opt out of photos being used publicly?+
Yes. If a specific child should not appear in public images, notify us in advance. For full privacy (no images used at all), a complete buyout is available for $500. You can also ask us at any time during the party to stop taking pictures.
Do you have chicken nuggets or hot chips?+
We no longer offer chicken nuggets, hot chips, or fries. These were part of a previous catering arrangement and are not available. Please refer to our current Grazing and Substantial menus for available options.
What is on the Substantial Menu?+
Available to Deluxe and Grand packages (a substantial option uses 2 of your grazing slots). You choose one — the current substantial choices are shown in your RSVP form and on our food menu page.
What is the Display Cake?+
We have a beautiful white display cake dressed up themed to your event. You can select how many slices you want in the RSVP form at $5 each (vanilla slices). Timing is also determined in the RSVP form.
What is the 'cake to go' option?+
Absolutely yes — there is always time for the birthday song! Your characters lead a special Happy Birthday sing-along and candle moment with the birthday child. "Cake to go" simply means the cake is beautifully boxed for you to take home rather than cut and served at Windsor House. It is a lovely, graceful way to close the celebration: the party begins in the courtyard at Windsor House's "Once Upon a Time" sign and exits the hall as your "Happily Ever After" — cake in hand, wrapping the day up like a bow.
Can we bring our own party bags?+
Absolutely — you're more than welcome to bring your own party or lolly bags for your guests. Just bring them along on the day.
Can the performer's itinerary change on the day?+
Yes. Every performer brings their own flair, so the order and mix of activities, games and special moments can vary a little depending on the group and how the children are responding on the day. All the highlights are always there — the entrance, the activities, the happy birthday song and the cake moment — but the exact run sheet stays flexible. If there's something your child especially wants, please tell us in advance and make it clear, and we'll do our best to build it in.
How do costume looks and "Enchanted's Choice" work?+
Every booking includes Enchanted's Choice, and it's free. We pick the best version of your character's costume for the day and keep the flexibility to swap it if our preset look isn't available — so your party is never held up. Prefer to lock in a specific character or costume look? You can choose one in your booking portal: a one-time $50 customisation fee applies, plus that look's own surcharge if it has one (the total is shown on each option). You can change your look up to 7 days before your event.
